How are you loading the rounds into the mag? If you are trying to slid them in like other pistol mags, that is your problem. These mags load like .223 mags. You put the round over the top of the mag and just click it downward into the mag... just push them down.

I am not sure about weather these are the same as 57center, but I called Military Gun supply and even though their website now shows over 400 in stock, they are waiting on "the truck" :lmao: He said "don't worry you'll get em" sounds vaguely like "the check is in the mail"

I think you can repackage the contest as "shot from the pistol" as I just saw it and want to see if any of my development brass has necks that far out

Every day there is a new attack on liberty. Wolly and Ears have it right. Anyone siding for liberty will find their way on some gov list. Re: 3N38 and 30gr berger

Closing out 55 gr fmj as I lost a primer @ 7.0gr. Very stiff report but no smoke One failure to feed @ 7.0. Pic of casings for both 55fmj and 45 gr tsx below. I will probably call 6.5-6.6 grain max on the 55 fmj. Powder 3N38 Trim 1.135" OAL 1.590 +-.004 CCI 400 primers Remington 55gr FMJ Crimp: Modi...

Re: 3N38 and 30gr berger

It helped in that it gave me more room in the case. 8.1 grain is right up to the bottom of the neck. So you don't have the option at the top of the range to seat the bullet deep enough to crimp above the band. However, at the lower charges it seemed the increased pressure from the deeper seating dep...

Re: anyone try the Barnes 45gr TSX?

Posted this info in chunks under a different thread, but thought it would be good to have the whole range in one place and this is the 45gr tsx thread. I would call 7.9 the max and it was on the HOT side. Powder 3N38 Trim 1.135" OAL 1.580 +-.003 CCI 400 primers 45Gr Barns TSX Crimp: Modified Lee FCD...

7.9 is still a nice load. Im glad you went the extra mile... but in the future I would quit after ONE lost primer. :gavel: Im surprised there was no smoke...interesting. Did you get any of the deep black craters at 7.9-8.1? So whats next? You gonna take the 30gr Bergers to their max? Youre probably...

Re: 3N38 and 30gr berger

I found the top for 45gr tsx. I lost a couple primers and had very stiff report along with pronounced extraction mark on the brass. The primers(that staid in) were flattened with leakage. There was no smoke out the back of the 57 though. For 3n38 and barns 45gr tsx, I would use 7.9 as an absolute ma...

I made a couple this evening with my carbide hacksaw blade and a rotary polisher. My question is: those of you who have cut the insert <1.100", isnt it putting alot of stress on the shoulder of the case? I noticed that the round (more specifically, the shoulder) pushes on the insert way before the ...

Re: 3N38 and 30gr berger

Thanks Grant, for the motivation to keep rolling. So I took the 45gr tsx higher and I think there was more room than I thought. I had been using a brass catcher and I think that was making the brass look worse that it was with neck bends. So I did a couple rounds with out the brass catcher and while...

:agree: Chamber a few rounds after they are reloaded and crimped. I pull the barrel from my USG and have it on my bench when I reload. Using the seater die to crimp (too much) and buckle the neck a little and that will really screw up your chambering (not your issue.. just reminiscing  ) On t...
