Re: how about lets have a show & tell day

Not the best video, as I took it with my cell phone camera. Graininess is from the camera, not the PVS-14. The lights that you see on the house on the hill (left) aren't even visible with the naked eye. The lights to the right (streetlights) bloom quite a bit. Pretty good cloud cover last night so i...

Re: Suppressor and PS90/AR57

Not that I know of for that particular suppressor. I have a QD mount for my Gemtech G5 that I use on an SBR'd PS90.

If recoil sensitivity includes the 5.7, I'd hate to see what happens when the door says "PUSH".

Re: 300 AAC BLACKOUT BRASS AND/OR AMMO

Make the brass from 5.56 brass if you've got any. It's stupid easy. Buy a Lee hand trimming set for 5.56, cut off the end, trim past the shoulder using a drill and the shell holder, resize, trim with 300BLK trimmer to final size. BOOM! HEADSHOT! Cost... about $8 plus once used brass if you have it l...

You'd be surprised just how many people DO NOT understand the legislative process. It makes me weep.

Re: Starting a firearm co. seeking advice...

What does the Federal Aviation Administration have to do with manufacturing guns? Getting into SOT3/Title II stuff is spendy. It also comes with lots of rules. For instance, (not saying you are) if you think you're going to do it so you can legally manufacture full auto's for your own enjoyment, the...

I was just responding to something someone said on this thread. I edited the post to sound less menacing. It's hard to communicate what I'm trying t...

Re: Speaking of forgotten purchases...

Uhhh, Blue.... I'm not hoarding it, I'd forgotten about it because I have ss197 to shoot, when I do happen to shoot the 5.7 or PS90. I've still got a 1000 or so ss197 left to shoot of the 3k I bought years ago. My personal choice for home defense does not involve either weapon and I've got plenty of...

Re: Speaking of forgotten purchases...

Yeah, I'd put this away as I still have some ss197 to shoot. Honestly, I don't shoot my 5.7 much anymore, but I do shoot the PS90 quite a bit as I've got a suppressor for it, so it's always a fun time. Ran across a guy who has a small shop down in SLC and was asking him about ss197 and he said, "Wel...

I took this pic way back when I bought it and had put it away. Funny, what jogs your memory.

Re: Boston Dynamics robot is back!

Possibly. Only mentioned it as our heavy hovercraft can only climb about a 13% grade under load. Now maybe smaller payloads on smaller vehicles could work, but at this point, it just doesn't have the thrust to weight ratio required for some seriously hilly areas.
