Thanks...
I'll spend my money on SS198 then.

R&R Weapon Systems 5.7x28 ammo
I was browsing 5.7 ammo on Gun Broker, and saw listings for ammunition produced by a company called 'R&R Weapon Systems'. They have 0 feedback, and searches on Google and this forum turned up nothing, so I don't have any info on them. I E-mailed the seller through GB, and promptly recieved a polite ...

Re: Excel Arms X-22P questions...
Thank you for your reply! Sorry it took me so long to get back to the discussion.
I'm having trouble finding any of your pistols for sale. I would like to purchase one, but the lack of availability is hampering me. How can i obtain one of your X-22P pistols?

Re: Excel Arms X-22P questions...
I'm saving up for the X-22P. It looks like the perfect trainer for the PDW type weapons that are on the market now. If I like it, I will buy the 5.7 pistol as well. The only thing that worries me, is that I've seen a lot of negative comments about your customer service online - like people who send ...

Sure thing then.
I don't have a scanner at my place, but the wife and I are visiting relatives over the weekend, and I know they have one. I will get it to your PM box ASAP.

Re: Confused about the Barnes Solid
I just received the reply from the ATF question line: The sole act of modifying the dimensions of commercially (or otherwise) produced firearm projectiles will not result in a violation of Federal Law. As State or local ordinances may be more stringent than Federal law; we recommend you also check w...

Re: Lacquer coating?
Thanks. I got it now. My hang up was in the thinking behind it. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to remove the lacqer, and I was having trouble trying to figure out why someone would try and strip it off prematurely if it is intended to aid the design. I was thinking it would be better to brief...

Re: Confused about the Barnes Solid
I saw that, and I'm very sad to hear it. You have my condolences. My father was 'bullied' to a lesser extent back in the 90's for selling steel core Norinco 7.62x39 ammunition when he had an FFL. They never sent 'troops' to our house, but they did harass him many times via phone and postal mail. I'v...

Re: Lacquer coating?
I must not be quick witted enough to run with you guys. I'm sure that spelling things out for the 1,000'th time to dullards like myself is very frustrating for you seasoned veterans. I get that... ..aids in case extraction[...]. So far, no one has reported any problems as a result of removing the la...

Confused about the Barnes Solid
I've been reading up on Panzer's posts (using the search function ;) ) and am aware that AP ammunition is legal to own and shoot, but I have a few other questions that I can't seem to find solid answers for. If I understand correctly, Elite Ammunition was basically turning down the Barnes Banded Sol...

Re: Lacquer coating?
I'm kinda glad this came up again. I had been reading through the archives for several days now, and was still VERY confused as to whether the lacquer issue effected me and my new FsN, or if it was isolated to the PS90. I already load for 45 acp, 44 magnum, and 45 Long Colt, and was trying to find o...
