Happened to me once the first day I got mine.

It was just me not seating the bullet all the way in the mag.

Never upgraded to the new spring and it has not happened since.

And they are all true, once you have 1 you will feel the constant urge for more.

The Competition hammer from the CZ custom shop is a very good upgrade, also dry fire it about 250-300 times when you get it and the trigger will drastically improve if the pistol is new.

You should consider the trigger kit. If you notice the stock trigger has a lot of side to side play on it and Hennings trigger makes a world of difference. It is a great trigger out of the box so unless to really want to tune it up it will be just fine. The supersights are a great upgrade as well. T...

Any CZ 75 with good barrel is as accurate as any match 9mm. The CZ 75 for $300 used is just as accurate as a match. It's the shooter, not the gear. HP's have a habit of getting the copper heat sink's clogged with dust.
If it is not a model you can easily open, sometimes a can of compressed air will do the job , or a shop vac at the fan/vent area.
