Re: QUESTION for all

I was a little surprised that the Browning 1911 isn't being made by FN!

Re: QUESTION for all

It puts 1911's to shame (how's that for pissing off the 1911 guys! :) Just kidding. ) Blasphemy!! And in the 100year anniversary too! I assume that FN is coming out with a 1911 this year too? :) P.S. wasn't expecting a backlash from here in particular, but I do seem to have a knack for pissing peop...

That's what I've got to do with my P226 mags.
My SigPro (SP2009) too!

Re: QUESTION for all

I am going to buck the trend (and probably piss people off) but I do have an M&P fullsize, compact and an FNX. I prefer the M&Ps for carry. To be honest, I have had an M&P a lot longer, so I have a lot more range time with it. However, in general I do find that the M&P fits my hand better and has le...

Re: FNX-40 CCW ??

I second the Crossbreed great holsters, very concealable even with a "fullsize" pistol like the FNX.

Congrats on the new pistol, although I am a big fan of the big framed Smith's!

I stumbled on this looking for something else, but was pleased to see that they offer OWB holsters...

FNX trigger: serrated or smooth?

Somebody told me that they read a specs sheet that said that the FNX comes with a serrated trigger.

Interesting, because mine is smooth. Anybody have one that is serrated?

Re: FNP Handguns being Discontinued

The FNP-# USG models have the manual safety (MS) on them. I thought that they all came with the MS, but not the case. Did not find this out, until after I bought one and had it home. I had seen enough of the USG models that I did not even think about checking on them when I bought the one that I ha...

Re: Is the FNX catching on?

Blade-Tech made the holster that came with my FNX, it is the same one for the FNP. I know that Crossbreed makes FNP SuperTuck Deluxe's too.

FNP45 C.O.A.L. problems?

Is WWB 230gr the only factory ammo that has (magazine) problems in the FNP45 due to cartridge overall length?
Been itching to get one, but need to shoot my WWB first :)

Re: FNP Handguns being Discontinued

You think I'm kidding? Nope.. dead serious, research it. So go buy your "FNX"... sounds much more exciting than the old FNP. Why so bitter? For me the big difference (in non-45 models) was the safety system which adds the ability to be carried cocked and locked. A significant difference and one tha...

Re: FNP Handguns being Discontinued

Sucks because we just started carrying the shooter packs for these things too..
At least the FNX (and maybe FNS?) will take the same shooter's pack... :)

Re: FNS (striker-based)

I like it bit I think the FNX is more appealing to me. glad the line is growing.. Agree with you on both points. I like the traditional hammer with DA or SA carry capability. Makes the FNX one of the few on the market. It will be interesting if they are priced lower to compete with the other strike...

I haven't seen actual 451 brass in a while, I used to use it to make 45 Super (before Starline came along).

Re: FNP40 Slide lock after last round spent problems.Suggest

FWIW, the only time I have had that problem (not FN related) it ended up being the mag springs (of three mags) that came with a used pistol. Has anyone else shot it?
