Howdy Blue and all who read,

Does anyone have a failure to eject magazines problem with the five-seven?

They can be full or empty it doesn't matter which. I have cleaned them and also the magwell. They appear to only drop a few centimeters before stopping.

It is well documented that the FNP 45 magazines have produced a few feed related issues. 1. Winchester White Box C.O.A.L causing a jam within the magazine. 2. Various HP rounds failing to chamber. I agree, the shoulder is not satisfactory. How much of a margin of error is acceptable with the shoulder, .01 - .02?

Also, a light chamfer and debur or a more pronounced, which is preferable? As of so far, I give them a few quick twists and nothing more.

Re: Gel testing

Some people may find the logic behind my next statement unhealthy. I just think these projectiles are simply beautiful. There is a sort of feeling I have that these are the flagship vessel to bring modern firearms into a new evolutionary realm. The implications of this concept are staggering to pond...

Viridian X5L

Much love to you my firearm family, I have searched the forum and found nothing related. I hope not to double post or post this in the wrong place. If so, blame this "TapTalk" iPhone app I paid $3.00 for. Does any one have any knowledge of running a Five-seveN with a 'Viridian X5L' light/laser combo...

Re: FNH statements against reloading in Five-seveN owners ma

Very well, All sounds fair and reasonable. Now if I may continue by asking the following: If the factory ammo is "watered down" is this in reference to the grain of projectile? Or the powderloads? Both perhaps? Are we talking about pushing the projectiles past the 'non compressed' powder configurati...

Re: FNH statements against reloading in Five-seveN owners ma

From what I've seen, FN includes their disclaimer to not cover reloaded ammo due to the fact that they don't want to continually replace $1k guns from constant reloading accidents rather than actually trying to exclude customers from their warranty. Evidence if this is constant on our forum, where ...

Re: FNH statements against reloading in Five-seveN owners ma

I actually read his whole post and saw all the pictures some time back. This was before I knew he was "that guy". Glad to know you didn't loose any fingers or eye sight in that accident. God is good and his mercy endures forever. My question to you is: did it make you stop reloading for the Five-sev...

Re: FNH statements against reloading in Five-seveN owners ma

Thanks for responding, My statement about the 5.7x28 being proprietary came from the FNH website's product video for the Five-seveN. http://www.fnhusa.com/le/flash/prodvid.asp?20105.7720.f4v" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Straight from the horse's mouth... FNH statements against reloading in Five-seveN owners manual

Greetings to my gun owning friends and family, I see that many of you fine folks are reloading the 5.7x28 and that there is a growing number of dies and etc with respects to the cartridge. So can anyone shed some light on the disclaimer that FNH posts in the owners manual? My general consensus is th...
