Re: Bugout Project SIG completed (almost)

What process did you use to change out the flash supressors? I would like to change mine out to a QD Blackout, but have not because the barrel on my 556 has no flat spots for a wrench like an AR.

Because of the m16 handle mount.

Do you have any Trijicon Relex II sights (RX06-14)? Looking for something for my Sig556, and unfortuately this one won't work on it.

Re: Best 9mm Carry Gun Under $400? Ruger LC9 in my book.

Would you really want to bet your life on a $400 pistol? Sure, I have shot more rounds through it in 2 months than most people shoot through their $1200 Kimber's in 3 years without a single FTF. I beat the hell out of it with +P and +P+ ammo and plenty of dirty Monarch. I shot over 200 rounds befor...

Re: Best 9mm Carry Gun Under $400? Ruger LC9 in my book.

I second the old P228's as well, they were balanced just right for the 9mm, and after shooting those a P229 in 9mm feels really unbalanced in my hand. Definitely stick with MecGar's and not the Checkmates with Sig's, there have been a lot of issues with the CM's lately in Sig's with not feeding and...

Re: Tirant9 can on a 5-7?

If it will work, then I will get a threaded barrel when finances allow for it. I don't care t0 flip the bill to buy another can; nor do I care to grovel at the feet of the BATF again to beg their permission to buy another...

Thanks for the input.

Re: Best 9mm Carry Gun Under $400? Ruger LC9 in my book.

If you were to say under $500 I would suggest a used Sig P228. They have them on GunBroker in the $400-$500 range and are great pistols http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=260951653" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . I bought one of the used Swiss pistols and have not h...

Tirant9 can on a 5-7?

I have a Tirant 9 (9mm) can with a 1/2x28 thread on it. I use it on my Sig P226 S4, and was wondering if it would work on my 5-7? Has anyone looked into something similar? I also have a 762SD can I use on both an M1a (.308) and an AR15 (.223). This is my logic in asking the above question. Any input...

Re: SingleEngine Plane Crash Into IRS in Austin -Pound of Flesh

There was another report on the news yesterday of a man bulldozing his own home. They reported he had a bunch of IRS liens on his business properties, then the IRS attached his personal home then later sold it. He dozed it and said he would most likely be dozing his business buildings as well. Hones...

Re: Whats the best shotgun to buy?

Remington 870.

Then go to Walmart and buy some $12.50 (15-rd) boxes of their Winchester Super X Magnum Buckshot loads (15-pellets per round). These rounds work real good.

If a semi-auto 'long-range' gun is what you are hunting, why not go with an M1a and scope it?

Re: New Member Introduction

Hello. New to the 5.7mm; just acquired one recently. So far I like it, but it will have to try hard to replace my .41 mag as a favorite.

Tried to PM the LE forum guys, but it does not seem to work.
