AR57 custumer service

:thumb: I Had my Ar57 rebarreled to a longer barrel in an attempt to get every little bit of velocity from the cartridge. I am very pleased but MY rifle developed an issue of not fireing ? After pretty good looking over it looked like I had a firing pin failure.i contacted AR57 and sent my bolt to t...

Re: Brass looks abused!

The Sub load does not do it but the #7 load and the factory load ,(factory not as much) I also get a fail to feed on once in a while that will be a hang up in the down position case against lower chamber. with a big dented case mouth.....this is why I was thinking slowing down the Bolt might help?

I have a AR57 that I love. I just had it rebarreled to a 28" schillen 1x9" sorta like the one one this forum with the Mcgowwen Barrel. The thing shoots very accurate but Man oh Man does it Beat the brass. The shoulder is moved way forward and rounded. Is this because the bolt is moving while the pre...

Re: McGowan 28" barrel for the AR-57

Just picked mine up friday from gunsmith!! I went with a 1x9" 28" barrel and it seems to be doing very well at stabilizing my subsonic loads. But doesn't like to feed great with my 40gr handload I will tweak it alittle and post up some groups. Is yours cycling well with the carbine buffer ,? I start...

Re: AR 57 opinions please

Yes this round lends itself well to reloading. The price of primers and bullets are the same for most all small rifles. The nice thing about the 5.7 is that you get a bunch of rounds from a pound of powder.
