Re: PS90 Owners I Need Your HELP!
My two PS90s are 25,000 apart in serial number and perform identically. When they were stock the magazine would not pop with new 195 or 197. Both guns popped the mags 2% when using old powerful 195. With hand loads the problem became ridiculous. When I weighted the bolt both guns performed better. E...

That is an excellent job. Have you had a chance to fire it? You might have to weight the bolt when you fire rounds that are more powerful than the factory made stuff. Sounds like you are heading in the right direction. The maximum load might be between 5.6 and 5.9 grains. Once you get there the dent on the case should go away. If the dents do not go away you can try a weaker buffer spring and that will allow the bolt to remain back long enough for the shell to es...

You are using too much powder for this round and that bullet weight. The bolt is returning to soon and hitting the cases causing the dent. Try starting at a lesser amount of powder then work your way up. Start at 5.2 grains then go up from there. Use a chronograph so you know where you are.

They changed powder to reduce the gas blow back in the PS90. White box 195 would often cause the magazine to pop up and the gun would jam. The re-tuned blue box 195 is weaker and has less gas blow back and is balanced for the PS90 with the 16 inch barrel.

Shimming a Halo tri-rail
Installing a Halo Manufacturing tri-rail requires a little shimming to get the rail perfectly level. I used three layers of lead golf tape to achieve a good level rail. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e90/ninthinning/DSC02519.jpg Three layers of lead tape here. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e9...

Just a guess here but it may be they de-tuned 195 ammo because it would occasionally pop the magazine out of the PS90 and cause a jam.
