Re: 5.7x28 bolt action

I think you might even think about necking the 28 case down to either .17 or .20 cal. That should give you a really interesting round. What you would end up with is something a fair bit quicker than .17hmr and 5mm magnum rimfire and definetly more accurate. The costs for running the 28 case will be ...

Re: OATH KEEPERS_TRAITORS OR PATRIOTS......

At least your lot still apply a constitution, we have not been aloud to use that as a defense of our rights for years, the only peice of our constitution that is still used is the bit that allows MP's to slander each other in the house of commons. Ares actually allows for the right to bear arms as w...

Re: The Enemy Within

An interesting read, we dont hear about these things happening in the USA over here. The question that should be on our minds is whether the PC brigade as managed to remove the stomach for fight from both of our societys.

Re: What are you reading now?

Llagoud I didnt know that the dip sh@t Mick North was her ex, that just makes it even more interesting. He is the man who is trying to get all guns banned. He looked at the same evidnece that was released for about 5 minutes and concluded that the government was right to ban had guns. Unfortuantely ...

Re: What are you reading now?

In recent weeks I have read a few books in between finishing my degree. Sniper one, brilliant simple as that, its about the prince of wales regiment in almarah, an area of the iraq war that had very little coverage, it was also the regiment of Private Beharry the last recipient of the VC our nations...

Re: So what's the deal with this supposed price increase on ammo

Yep you get VAT and import tax on them, I think the major issue is probably the fact theres very little competition for supply and there are only about 1 million gun owners in the UK we are also limited on how much ammo we can have at any given time. I dont mind people making money but somewhere alo...

Re: Epic Movie Thread

Ah ok try these: Band of Brothers Peice of Cake Both were extremely good. I really like the longest day as it gave a complete picture of what happened that day. There also was War and Remembrance that was a slightly strange one. The guy who wrote 8 lives down a british ATO thought that the Hurt Lock...

Re: Bill to allow Sound Suppressors in WA state

I know this might sound a little ludicrous, we are aloud suppressors in the UK, the reason is simple Health and Safety. A firearm makes a noise greater than 85 decibels, this is the safe working or environmental limit for your ears, While at the range people have the ability to use ear defenders, wh...

Re: So what's the deal with this supposed price increase on ammo

Lads i am not being rude or funny, but before you start moaning about ammo prices spare a thought for us on the other side of the pond, I went into by some 7mm rem mag ammo about a month ago, 20 rounds came to £45, thats pounds not dollars, .17hmr ammunition is running at about £10 for 50, even .223...

Lads I missed the Hurt locker at the cinema was it any good, I am awaiting the DVD? Oh yes. There are several things that make matters worse. The pistol ban came into effect after the tragedy of Dunblane, 20+ school children killed by a nutty gunmen, the police had 8 oppurtuninties to take his firearms of him and did not take any action. After the event there was a big public enqui...

Re: New member from across the pond

Llagoud unfortuantely they can all be a bit sensationlist, however we are fairly lucky over here in that they all deliver good quality news. However if you wanted one that was the best then the BBC is a good place to start, it has gone a bit lefty in recent times but a change of government should se...
