Speaking of flashlights, I've gotten into custom making my own lights. It's quite fun, but like you said I do need the high discharge 18350 or 18650. In a pinch I can use a 123 in my edc though.

I use that stuff on my endcap threads to keep them from being carbon glued on, normal gun oil for my barrel threads as anti seize gets all over everything.

I spoke to gemtech several times about their cans over the years, there is no issue with it on the sbr the only difference between that can and the SAR-57 are the threads, they are the exact same internals.

Also Silco customer service is legendary.

I split this from the other thread, if you are asking about the cell backup for a home alarm, it's normally bundled with your security company, if your alarm trips and the alarm panel can't communicate through your phone lines, it will use a backup cell module normally an add on item from adt.

It seems anymore everyone releases products as soon as they are conceived, especially with facebook being the norm now. There isn't much "wonder" to the show as there was 5 or 10 years ago. I always like to see photos of the show either way.

Did something this morning that I've never done before... Went duck hunting. Got one too - although I am told it's a "nasty, fish-eating duck" called a Common Merganser. But I shot it so I should at least try it, guess I should be researching duck recipes... Let us know how it turns out! :ttiwwp:

I have been carrying a AAA Maratac Rev. 3 for a few months and I think it is a decent light. I have had this light for a while now, it's the brightest light running off a AAA I have seen for this price. Hennessy's are a bit expensive for my taste & I have not heard anything about them good or bad. Also, personally, I don't think I'd like the hammock idea for camping. With my luck, I'd tie off to what seems to be a sturdy tree but in the middle of the night, I would be proven wrong. I love my Henne...
