Re: Recieved my order and a question...

aaaaaaand I just stumbled upon a partial answer after looking for a few days ROFL, 20% stiffer, but how will that effect cycle times as well as the ability to use ammo loaded closer to FiveseveN power?

Recieved my order and a question...

Hey all, I recieved my order for the P90 spring pack and rate reducer, all parts are installed and I am a very happy lad :) Thasnk you very much! Now, on to my question hehehe regarding the P90 recoil springs, are they designed to also aid in reducing the bolt cycle speed, or they essentially the sa...

Re: anyone try the Barnes 45gr TSX?

I have been looking at a small bench lathe over at McMasters, decent price anyway, just really small. I am considering shaving off 10 grains off the back then loading them up. My goal would be to make them reliably and fully open from the FsN. From the PS90 it would be gravy.

Re: Load bearing vest or chest rig for .308

I use a Blackhawk serpa thigh rig for my M9 with the mags are in pouches on the vest. I keep a knife in a knife holder on the thigh rig and carry 10 5.56 mags on the vest as well as a bandoleer with 6 more mags hooked to my TC seat. I still have room for 40mm rounds, but havent seen any since last r...

Re: 5.7x28 Random Reloading Discussions

iFire, couple o questions for ya here; have you tried VV 3N38 for the FsN? I was able to get to 7.8 grains max for the pistol. At 8.0 I had a case rupture and decided that was far enough lol With the PS90, pretty much any charge using 3N38 will pop the mag, so it's out for me. Shame, it's a fast pow...

Re: 5.7x28 Random Reloading Discussions

regarding those NTX bullets, how is their terminal performance in gel? IIRC it has a compressed powder core, so I would think it would basicly behave like a Varment Grenade, eh?

What I wouldn't give for a 30 grain TSX hehehehehe

remember, you don't need to touch the sensor with the bullet. Ya know those sky screens? I bet it sees the bullets way up there :p :lmao:

Re: .300 WSM quickload request

I bought quickload and now I understand why people are so reluctant to posting loads for others. There are just too many variables that can end up in a KB involved. Once I get home from the ME here, its game on! hehehehehe

.300 WSM quickload request

Hey all,

I am tinkering with my .300 WSM and long heavy bullets just for fun. One thing that isnt fun is blowin up a great rifle, so I am asking if anyone is able to post a Quickload readout for Alliant Reloader 22 with 220 grain SMKs in the .300 WSM.

Thanks,
E

Re: Neck separation with modest 5.9gr TrBlu 36gr Varmint Gre

I am waiting on the prototype for testing of our increased weight for the PS90 bolt. It would help avoid these issues buy keep the brass in the chamber longer, allowing the pressure to drop more and make it easier for the brass to extract whole. How much heavier have you gotten the bolt to? I was j...

Re: Hornady Superformance- not so super

a bud came over to zero his rifle for elk season and had some .30-06 superformance 180s. Velocity was between 2713 and 2784, thats pretty bad IMNSHO. Accuracy was about as good as the velocity spread giving 4 inch groups at 100 meters (yes, meters lol). His rifle does have only a 22 inch barrel, so ...

on me now.. Springfield XDm 9 loaded with 147 grain gold dots over 6.9 grains VV 3N38. In the bedroom between the nightstand and bed my FS2000 with Mk 262 Mod 1 clones and my PS90 with 50 grain CTSTs. Under the pillow is my FsN with 40 grain ballistic tips.

+1 on 40 grain ballistic tips for the FiveseveN. For the PS90, I prefer 50 grainers.

Re: MUMM (Make Up My Mind) pliz

I voted FS 2000. If you want a non-bullpup rifle, just save a buttload and get an M4gery. I got the standard model FS2k, took off the sight shroud, removed the factory optic and tossed on an Eotech XPS 2-2 and 3x FTS. With a 250 meter zero, the lower dot drops right in at 500 just as advertised.
