Sig hands down would be my recommendation. NSW in the 90s went through a ton of suppressed 9mm pistols testing their quietness and the gun that came out of all that is the MK24 (now a Mk25 I think they changed designation) with the factory Sig threaded bbl that they use standard. Re: Vortex Viper PST
You are probably correct with light transmission. I sold my 6.5-20 vx3l to buy my pst so I did not have the chance to do a true side by side. The vx3 is probably a little better, but i am satisfied with thr viper in low light. My next scope will be a Nightforce ATAC with the MOAR reticle. If all go...

Re: Vortex Viper PST
Good review. I own a PST and an HS (identical except for one has illumination). I also have two VX-3 Custom Grey Bull Precisions. You are dead on with the illumination, it isn't a great working system. In fact, I agree with all except the comment that it performs like a VX-3. Frankly, it really does...

I gotcha. Yeah, that is never good.
I love how slide fire includes a laminated copy of their ATF review with each stock. It keeps everyone safe. Perhaps SIG can do same?

But if they can't be effective, and NRA can, why would you choose them over NRA? I think that is a fair question.
That being said, I do give to other state and national gun groups as well.

Don't really care. I think the misuse was passing NFA. That was the largest misuse. Any way to legally get around a stupid reg, I'm all for it.

I have gotten asked by the local ILA guy to come to a few get togethers. Got to meet with my US representative and Senators at one earlier this year. 40.5 gr Varget and 175 SMK was a load I used very accurately in past. But I have sold all my 308s years ago so there may be better options for powder and bullets now. With rifles, I would increase by .2 to be absolutely safe. I admit to going up .5 at a time before, but got a pretty good gas blast o...

You can google how to properly do it. Not hard. ANd you will get worlds better brass doing it that way than buying virgin 284 brass from winchester.

Not to derail, but have you thought of sizing up 6.5-284 Lapua brass? I know a ton of BR and comp shooters that do that. Best brass on planet. Only problem is that your brass doesn't say 284 Win on bottom.

Nice, I wouldn't get too nuts with that on a 22, it will muck it up in a short order, you get mega build up on the baffles by shooting 22lr. :) Someone else on youtube had put over 2000 rounds through his osprey 45 on a .22 and it didn't gain 1 gram. With that being said this was more or less to se...

Re: Multiple NFA's
I have experienced that 22 LR cans should be used for 22LR firearms and 223 cans work well with 223 and 5.7. Cans for all three, well I haven't experienced any that work very well, particularly on SA guns.
That being said, I have not used any of the newer cans that have hit market in last few years.

It's her property to sell. She can ask what she wants. I tend to politely tell them that their prices seem to be way higher than normal market prices, and then just leave it at that. No one is forcing me to buy from them. We can't be for the free market only when it suits us. I wouldn't worry too mu...
