What's with that crazy ra ra ra ra ra! screaming? She sounds like a dog that just got stepped on.

As for the woman who got shot.. well, that restraining order sure did her a lot of good.

Holy smack...that was cold.
I read the whole story and am at a total loss. Insanity? Mental anguish? I dunno if there IS a defense for that.

Terminal stupidity perhaps?

Morbidly stupid?
I still can't imagine. I've got an ex that pushes EVERYBODY to the limits. Every time we had to go to court (usually over the kids) she had a different lawyer. None could stand to represent her after the first time. And yes, I've wished she would fall off the planet. And yes, I think the world would be a better place if she did. Yet, as much as that woman has been a thorn in my side...I just can't see doing something like that. I can't really put myself in his place as (luckily) she didn't drive any of my kids to suicide, but still... I'm sorry, I'm at a loss for words.

Okay, now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are!

I've seen the aftermath of domestic violence taken to the nth degree before, but I never had to see it as it was happening. When documenting a crime scene, or collecting evidence or interviewing witnesses, family members, etc, you can distance yourself from the act and violence that took place in those few moments in time.
I guess this is the first time I've seen it 'as it was happening' so to speak and it just caught me off guard.

Just think, the media finally got one right. Of course, it wasn't by their great reporting of the facts. A picture says a thousand words. Like MO said, the restraining order "did a great job" of protecting that woman.

Can't help but wonder what this guy is going to say when they ask him why.

"Cause' she made me mad." This happened back in 1993, and through some legal wrangling on his part, didn't go to trial until 2000. I don't know what the outcome was.
