I've been keeping up on these forums for quite some time now and would like to say thanks to everybody for keeping up such a wealth of useful information.
Ive got a question as to whether or not lease agreements can be used to restrict legal gun possession. Ive had no luck with my state law site (Washington) or any other source so far. From my findings so far most lease agreements for housing include multiple things about being law abiding etc. and no unlawful possession blah blah blah. But a new revision for my lease next year states that tenants cant possess firearms. The legality with leases is fairly complex so i would be amazed if the answer was clear cut. Its a voluntary agreement yes, but given the extent of other tenant rights that cannot be waived by signing the piece of paper i wasn't so sure that they could have you toss out the 2nd amendment with a stroke of a pen.
Any info would be much appreciated.
