Hello,
Does the fivesevenforum accept donations? If so, by what means are they accepted?
I despise PayPal as a means, but I’d make an exception in this instance. Anyways, as I'm sure most of us know by now,” There is no such thing as a ‘free lunch.’"
I just paid the NRA for what they do for me. I'm willing to pay towards the upkeep of this site as well. I want this Forum to last. Anyone else? I have never met or spoken to the owner. So, I do not have a "vested" interest in what I am suggesting. No one has asked me to say this. I don’t know the financial status of the owner. Regardless of whether the owner is a millionaire or just scraping by, I still would like to help pay for my share of the use of this great site. A good starting off figure might be $35.00 per year? I have both enjoyed and benefited from using this site and I appreciating that someone else has been footing the bill for my privilege of doing so.
The NRA has benefited me, and all of the rest of us, by helping to protect our Constitutional Rights. I'm not rich, not by any means, but I'm willing to pay for that Service. This Site is benefiting others and me as well by providing an important Forum for the exchange of information and opinions about the 5.7. It is becoming a concentrated mass of ideas and information that may well become the touchstone of the future of this pistol. Some of this information is helping me now. Also, just seeing what others have to say and express about their experience has also helped me to feel less isolated since the 5.7 is still a relatively rare and is often looked down on. This is a great place to talk with other 5.7 owners and enthusiasts about the many aspects of this firearm and feel comfortable in doing so. Here I am not concerned about being flamed by the other members of the Forum. No one else that I know of has bothered to go to the trouble of setting up a site like this for us, the FiveSeveN owners and enthusiasts.
FN missed it’s chance to found a User Forum. They had plenty of time to do so if they were interested. Perhaps, it is better that they didn’t considering all the political heat that blew their way awhile back, and is still being turned on them. I hope that FN notices that there are still people that fight for their rights, and are fighting to take the heat off of them as well as all other manufactures of legal firearms that are sold to law abiding US citizens.
I consider myself fortunate to be among others here who believe in Freedom and Justice. An Internet Forum is International, but I must still brag about my Country and what it really stands for: Freedom! This makes me proud of it. This Forum attracts the Law Abiding Citizen. I believe that we are mainly law abiding and Freedom loving people here. It took me a long time to learn to associate law abiding with gun carrying due to my exposure to the anti gun culture that has poisoned the awareness of so many people. I'm just a plain ol' law abiding citizen, among other honest folk in this forum. I believe that I have more in common with law abiding and enforcing Police Officers, then I ever would with criminals. And, really dislike violent criminals; those that break the law and endanger the health and safety of our society. They are ALL our common enemy. I do not feel sorry for them, I despise them. I also count our Soldiers as among our true allies: gallant men and women, fighting both today and in times past since the beginning of our nation to protect our Constitutional Rights and Freedoms. So here we are. Like I said, I feel lucky to be counted among such good company. Now I'm not telling anybody what to do. I’m just suggesting that those of us that are able and willing to contribute consider it as an option if requested to do so. No offense to anyone intended.
