I have recently discovered this new group, through a member on this site.

I have decided to join the club for its comraderie. information, and have determined that the articles and advice are particularily good and suitable. I recommend that all Five-seveN members give a look and consider supporting this organization.

They have my respect, which most of you know, is very hard to aquire.

Thanks MO!

I'm printing forms, member cards and assembling new member kits today. My assistant and I will be here all day tomorrow getting them ready to go on monday.

I'm also talking to folks, getting member discounts, and finding new articles for the upcoming issue of our newsletter.

Feel free to drop a comment on any of the articles if you have input. Member interaction is what it's all about.

Thanks again and welcome to the Club!

BTW.....when you log in to the site, scroll down to the "New product discounts for members" article and you'll find a couple of the companies that are offering members discounts right now.

Also, dont be shy to weigh in with your thoughts on the topics presented......or write in and start your own.

When you get your member kits.....there is a profile to fill out. The reason for this is so I can pair up sample products with members who can use them. Fill those suckers out, send them back to me and you'll be eligible for the member product testing program.

I get more stuff every month....holsters, cleaning products, grips etc.

The bigger we get, the more products manufacturers want us(our members) to test and review.

Thats one of the biggest parts of my job right now. Getting stuff in from manufacturers and out to members.

I received my membership package today in the mail. It looks really good (the membership card, that is, with the IOM on the front).

I also enjoyed reading "Pisols and Revolvers," it was quite well written and very informative :)

For those who haven't (yet) joined the Handgun Club of America, I highly recommend that you do!

Maybe it's just me but I'm not that impressed with your Club. I have been a member for some time now. I feel a bit ripped off. You guys talk a big game in the front but show up with little to nothing.

First off the Walther giveaway ended in December of last year. The banner is still up. If that says anything as to how often the website is updated.
Next the newsletter you mail out I have gotten maybe twice so far.
Then the product testing reports. The same one is still up since the day I joined. That was months and months ago.
Lastly, your partner discounts include one company.

As I said I'm pretty dissapointed with it. Maybe if you guys started updating things and gave us something to look forward to then my attitude would change.

Hey, azzhole, why is it that everytime you open your mouth here you end up insulting someone??? Why is it that you just can't seem to get along with anyone??? Why do you feel the need to be a jackhole?

I think you need to leave and not return.

btown02

my attitude would change.
You have shown a habit of bashing other members. You never have anything good to say about anyone or just about any topic on here. Since you couldn't change your attitude, I can at least remove it from this forum. You've been warned before so this is it.

Some people just don't know how to play in the sand box.

Medula Oblongata
03-02-2007, 07:19 PM
There's always that one kid who eats the sand, then craps in the box before he leaves...

Whitetiger then turned around after having been banned, and tried to re-register under the nam 'buttluver,' I mean 'gunluver.' What a piece of trash. Some people would be better off if they just ate a bullet. Well, they might not be, but the rest of us would...

There are some things the internet falls short of compared to the same situation played out in real life.

If a person goes to club meetings in real life and is an ass.....he will have grass stains on his back pockets and dirt in his hair, and really gets the hint to stay away when told to do so forever.
To come back to a club meeting in real life after being banned...even if calling yourself by another name will, depending on the club....get your knees shattered with a baseball bat.

We too are real people that live in real life , we too dont take kindly to folks coming back under another name, and are never "just kidding" when we kick some one to the curb (capish?)

I'm not insulted.

I took over the company just a few months ago. In that time, I have opened and equipped an office, set up members with a TON of free products to test.....Set up discounts with alumagrips, Pro-shot cleaning products....continued our discounts with waller bags etc. There are three new discounts coming in a couple weeks with the new newsletters. I'm also working on a deal with a major safe company to offer discounted safes drop-shipped to you.

I have updated the site at least weekly(I try to daily) with new content that I feel would be interesting to members.

The product review section on the site definitely needs to be beefed up. Most product reports are printed in the newsletter and they should be duped on the page. I'm doing everything I can but there are only so many hours in the day. A lot of my time in these first few months have been fixing things that were not running properly........A lot of sleepless nights filled with mind-numbing administrivia.

As always....if you are not satisfied with the club we offer a no questions asked refund policy.

If you bear with me for another month or so, I promise that you'll see a whole lot more member benefits opening up.

Thanks for the input!

We need as much as we can get.

Oh yeah......another Walther is going out this month. The giveaway happens every three months. My web guy just didnt update the info......My fault for not noticing it. I'll harass him this afternoon about that. :)

Josh

Thanks guys!

I spent a good portion of the weekend working on some new projects for the next couple months.

Look for some major additions to the website in the next week and a half that might save you some $$ . ;)

I ended up in meetings on saturday and one of my girls called in sick so anyone who has not received a membership kit yet.....stay tuned. Two office girls will be in fist thing in the morning to pack and ship them.

I think I have everyone who has joined through this forum seperated so you get the FiveSeven membership cards. Anyone who has not posted here or PM's me.....please do so. Just want to make sure everyone gets the card they should.

Thanks again everyone!

You're in on the ground floor........We're going to take this thing through the top.

papatobette,

I processed a bunch of kits and mailed them out yesterday. If you were on that list we probably printed you a standard membership card.

PM me your name and address and I'll print one out for you with a FiveseveN pistol on it and mail it out to you.

My pleasure.

I'm trying to get some feedback on the issue of the newsletter that was included in your member kits. It's important to me to keep inproving it with every issue and filling it with content that members truly find interesting.

If any of you guys have a minute, please go to the following link and rate the articles in the newsletter.

http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB226CL72C7N5

Thanks again for joining everyone!

I'll be announcing the winner of the P22 giveaway on the site in a couple days. I just received a couple Stack-on pistol safes that will be given away in June.

The next newsletter should be printed and shipping in the next two weeks. Included with it will be a sheet with a BUNCH of discounted products and the introduction of our new target classification program.

I'm still working on a program to get discounted large gun safes for members. Have a couple brands in the running. I'm price hunting.....if they wont substantially beat any advertised price out there...I'm moving on to the next manufacturer. Trying to figure out shipping too. Few of the big safe companies want to drop ship. Small pistol safes arent an issue.....its the bigguns :)

Thanks again!

I noticed member T-shirts on the site, it says you can buy it from your online store, but I can't seem to find a link to the online store?

thorfinn
04-21-2007, 08:15 PM
We had some problems with our last printer. The store is temporarily down.

Give me a couple weeks and I should have it back up and running. The only shirts I have left right now are tiny white womens shirts and tank tops.
