Any chance of Mr Tanner's attorney filing for defamation, slander, and anything else the brady campaign might have committed?

I bought a FS2000 from Mr Tanner a few months ago and everything went by by the book perfect.

ha, a black eye indeed. Tanners did exactly what they were supposed to, and get slammed for it. well at least it was corrected, and they were apologized to. hopefully everybody who saw the old posting saw the apology. I purchased my FiveseveN from tanners, right from the store, all the people there were great, and i've had few experiences that good. thanks again guys.

Yep that's him, and he did a very good thing. Way to go Ray.

Good job Ray.

As usual, Ray does what he's supposed to do each and every time. Also, normal the "computer is down" when a check is needed. Listen to any scanner and much of the time the officer on the traffic stop or requesting a record check is told, "The computer is working very slow(sometimes hours to get info back) or the computer is down." Congrats Ray for a job well down by you and your staff. Also, another example of media reporting, "the truth and just the facts".

Yet another victim of the Brady Campaign Against Truth. :barf:

Yeah. This is really crummy. The Brady bunch may formally retract the statement, but you know there will be many people who will never hear about it.

Not cool. Oh well. At least we all know better. I know who I'm planning all my future purchases through.

Ordered 5.7 ammo from Tanner's, great service . Wife was surprised at what it cost, but I got a deal. Brady and Bloomburg are trying to destroy lawful gun sales and gunshops.

Great gun shop and Great prices But......

Pray tell, what does any of your post have to do with the topic of this thread?

nothing

just felt it had to be said
That's why the threads have topics. It just sounds to me like you got your feelings hurt because the owner didn't shower you with attention over a $1400 deal. You got what you went there for at the price I assume you expected to pay, so I don't see your problem. I can tell you a lot of us on here like and deal with Ray and comments like that one will not make any friends on this forum. You need to drop it where it's at.

Ray: I read the article. How unfair. Hope this doesn't cost you any business for the misinformation and your fulfilling civic responsibilities. Congratualtions on getting things rectified. BTW, the SS195s came 2 days after the order - spectacular. I miss the little blue tips however. Keep up the good work & illegitimus non carborundum, as they say.

I live a few miles down the road from Tanners & go in there all the time.
(got my fs2000 there.....)
The shop is just outside philadelphia, PA, (where I used to live), in a beautiful area of bucks county.

So here is the real deal: In philly, they are shooting each other like the wild west mostly due to drug deals gone bad due to the fact that a few
years back the police clamped down on the drug dealers selling on the street corner's in an area we call "the bad lands". So what happened was now the drug dealers either deliver the drugs to there customers homes or sell out of there own homes which has resulted in more people trying to rip each other off thus the murder rate goes up.
On top of that you have the usual gansta/rap mentality adding to the mix., and a shit load of guns in the wrong hands. (I bought my first gun after a women that I knew was murdered in a laundry close to where I lived for a few dollars ... like 11 years ago)
Anyway, there is this politician by the name of Michael Nutter (spelling?)
who is basically blaming the gun stores and saying that all the gun violence in
the city is caused by the gun stores selling to straw men and when he gets elected he is going to shut down all the gun stores and all the violence will go away.

He has been saying this shit for years because he doesn't have the balls to say that the city is full of illiterate asshole crack heads that listen to rap music, and rob there own whore mothers, and think that living that gansta life is phat yo!

He names guns stores and threatens to sue them, most of the gun shop owners laugh at him knowing he is full of ....

The liberal press gets a hold of this and runs with it, ... you guys read about it..
... and thats basically the deal. bunch of hot air started from some a-hole and everyone here knows it.

Tanners or any other gun shop are in no danger of being shut down. Robbed maybe, shut down never.

I wonder just how many have seen the original black mark but missed the retraction? Sadly this may have cost them some business. :(

Philly is well-known for churning out liberal anti-gun politicians, including Gov. Ed Rendell.

The one thing Some politicians LOVE to do is to blame everyone else for their failures....

Its never their fault...

Unfortunatly it works alot for them , SOME of the most successful ones use this strategy ....

Mainly because the voting public falls for it every time ( almost)....

I wish it was not the case !!!!

I got MY PS90 from Tanners , and they were great to deal with .....

I am in PA also and have friends near Tanners soo I would love to visit sometime and say hello , and thanks etc... OK,OK MAYBE buy something Hee Hee

Be safe all

I live in center city Philadelphia and actually drove past Tanners one day(buddy lives out there). When I save up enough money I'll be making a trip to their fine store.. Sorry to see that story, Brady idiots...
