It hasnt snowed like this in a couple years. The photo was taken an hour ago and now there is no car visible at all. Just the edge of a mirror sticking out.
20+ inches at this point.
Hunkering down...roasting a chicken.....Loving the weather :)

That's crazy. I lived in Rochester,NY and we would get snow like that. I also remember that this was around the time of the first Mars rover mission and it was colder in Rochester than it was on Mars! Rochester was a great place to live, couldn't handle the 9 month winter.
Septo - Look at all the fun you are missing! I live in Greece, we had 15inchs at noon. Still coming down, more the next few days and into next week.

You can't even see the mirrors now. Both cars are just big snow mounds :)
Makes me wish I still had my snowmobile.
We've had at least a foot since I snapped that picture.
From whats on the roof, we're closing on 30"
Abpt....Were you shovelling in shorts?!?!?!?!! :)
Get that looked at man!
The snow plow buried my truck in my driveway, I am not even going to bother to dig it out until monday.

Ohhhhhh....that sucks. They're good about not doing that to us here. MA was a different story.....they'd plow a big drift right in front of the driveway.
I need to be at work tomorrow.......going to be digging like mad in the morning
Fortunately, I walk to work just about everyday, its only a few blocks. Its a lot cheaper to walk than to drive.
Official snow fall at Rochester, NY airport: 20.3 in since midnight.

Here in Denver we have been getting a snow storm about every 8 days since before new years. The cities have done a poor job of plowing the streets. Soo sick of the snow. Parents just got back from Arizona and 80's.

Hell, even we got snow in New Mexico. 4" in Albuquerque...it's not the above, but it's appreciable for the desert southwest.
