Didn't know where to post it but the FN 303 is part of the FN gamma and the less-lethal department gets a lot of attention by FN. A pistol that uses the same ammo as the FN 303 is on the way so we might get used to it. The article is in my opinion not that good but contains some interesting info.

Better article.

The FN303 and ammo is restricted to Military and LE. We might get to look but we won't be able to touch.

Naah, well that's something I don't understand. Why can they sell FS2000 and PS90, FNP stuff to civilians but not less-lethal stuff? Where is the Brady Campaign where you need them. ;)

I know, it makes no sense to me either. :)

Just on a side note, my Tippmann Model 98 paintball marker can push .68 paint downrange at 350 fps easy, it came out of the box shooting 325 fps. With the flatline backspin barrel, you can achieve excellent accuracy at 50 yards plus.

If you could get ahold of some pepperballs, you would have a pretty good substitute for the FN303 for less than $300.

On another side note, 300 fps hurts like hell at less than 10 feet but won't kill you unless you get some sort of freak accident with the round entering the eye socket. Wouldn't know about that, I wear a full face mask and goggles system.

I forgot to mention the 200rd capacity hopper. :D
