Not much information yet, but apparently a guy waltzed into a strip club wearing "body armor" killed a few people, wounded a couple of officers, and then plugged himself. Now, granted, this is an MSM aritcle, so "body armor" could have been a Trojan for all we know :rolleyes: , but this might have been an ideal circumstance for the 5.7x28 to sho its stuff.

Still, I feel sorry for the victicms--a strip club isn't a horribly pleasant place to die. I also feel sorry for the wounded officers. Could you imagine calling home and telling your wife, "Honey, I went to the strip club and got shot."

It all depends on the kind of ammo you would have for the Five-seveN and the type of body armor the BG had.

One would hope never to be caught in such a situation, however a fiveseven with the appropriate ammo would be far more ideal than a standard service sidearm. However, a rifle always trumps any hand cannon.

Yep, never go to a gunfight with a handgun unless you have no other choice. That's why they make rifles and shotguns. :)
