Now we will see how long the appeals board takes to review the case. The have unlimited time. If they uphold the conviction and sentence of death, it must be carried out within 30 days of their ruling.

Anyone wanna bet that either the board "considers" the case until Saddam dies of old age or they strike down the judgement?

If he is executed, I'm sure our media will be running commentaries on how he wasn't such a bad guy after all, how it was all a show trial, and that Bush is a murderer for railroading him to his execution. :rolleyes:
