Well I got the news this past Tuesday and was offered a transfer to Alpharetta, GA. I'm at the hotel waiting for the realtor to pick us up and go house shopping. Man the homes are cheap compared to S.FLA! Gas is about 20 cents cheaper as well. Looking for a 3/2 with an acre or so NOT in a sub-division(subs) so I can shoot all that new fangled 5.7 i just got in my own back yard. Probably going to buy in Dawsonville or Canton or anywhere else pro-self defense/pro-gun. Any ideas from fellow Georgians on the surrounding towns where target shooting in one's own back yard is not frowned upon. I was advised that s most subs have rules against private shooting on your own privately owned land. any truth to that? Hope not because that's the kinda stuff* that ruined S.FLA from Palm County to Miami-Dade!

Went to a nice range in Conyers GA once. It's just outside of Atlanta.

Better apply for a CCW ASAP. Florida is a good gun state and so is Georgia, as you know.
