That's been brought up before and it would depend on what you're talking about. The only rounds with any lead are the SS196/SS197 and the SB193. The T194/SS192/SS195 have no lead in the bullet. You be going to a lot of effort for nothing.

There's a thread somewhere on here with a bunch of people doing something like that, I remember reading it a while back. They made custom bullet holders and stuff to melt out the lead and everything; with a little searching I'm sure you'd be able to find the thread.

Welcome to the forum. Some of what was being attempted in the old thread was to make a bullet that might get you a free vacation at Club Fed if you got caught.

Look for the projectiles that are intended to be loaded with tracer compound (M855)

http://www.firefox-fx.com/Exotic%20Hardware.htm

Reloading die for compressing tracer compound into empty jacket (complete with instructions on how to remove lead from the bullet).

This is NOT intended to make AP projectiles, but to make TRACER projectiles. Any attempt to make (manufacture) AP projectiles will win you a 10 year vacation to Club Fed (Angola IN). Discussion of AP ammo, definitions of AP ammo, construction, etc. is PROHIBITED on this site and a sure way to get your account dissappeared.
