FOIL HUH

Well where to start.
I think you guys know where I went first. Of the guys Kevin met only Ken was there. I Had my forum shirt on and made sure all the FN reps saw it. Ken and I chatted for a while and although Iím sure he was tired and heard it all before we had a nice chat concerning the SCAR heavy and how much the marines are looking at their stuff.

PS90
I donít like the PS90 sight reticle The PS90 is smaller in real life and I pulled a sheriff and answered all my brothers questions about it faster then the rep babysitting it. (Loved the look on reps face) ALSO I pressured Ken and according to him FN did anticipate the popularity of the PS90, they are just up to there but with other work including trying to replace the m16/m4 with their rifle and the constant spec changes that are still coming from the DOD. Also I donít know if Kevin posted this but FN has already made and had over here a while ago all sorts of goodies for the PS90 just for lack of a better term no FN boxís for the stuff. He did bring up CMMG as a good source.

FS2000
needs skate board tape on both grips, Hell of a lot lighter then it looks. Pure ambie funky mag release itís a non-drop free unit. Even after having it in my hands on it the foreword ejection is still FUNKY from the outside you canít really tell how it works but we know it does. It shoulders nicely.

Found another FN rep that is a member. He could not confirm or deny his nic but showed me his Ink on his arm with the Nic he uses here. All around good guys at the FN booth.
Signed up for a raffle to benefit an injured soldier for 5 bucks. The prize is a FS2000, winning that would really roast your aluminum rapped buts

Picked up P90 urban reality T-shirt very cool.

OTHER HIGH LITES

After seeing The Nuge perform live so many times I could not come close to knowing the amount I got to meet him live get a pic with him and have him sign my NRA life member card. He is one of the few people in the world ever that I call a HERO of mine.

Karen Mehall Her pics in Womanís outlook do not do her justice. Talked to her at the W.O. booth.
God Lord that woman is HOT. Never mind that Iím sure she could out shoot and out hunt me.
Wife has been put on notice

Met Bob Bar wish he would run for pres. with JC Watts as his ViceP.

Went to S&W handled their new AR clone commented to the rep about what else of colts are they going to copy next.
Then I said the MP is a great gun only if they made it in 10MM. Rep then asked me to leave with the comment that 10mm is a dirty word back at the factory told him about all the S&W tens I own and they disavowed them.
I was also peeved also that since I had a t-shirt on and shorts I was not good enough to hold and look at their New/Old 45acp wheel gun.

FNís tactical stuff not with standing I passed over all the Benelli regular stuff and found a wall display with about 6 different types of their shot guns all master grade engraved with appropriate stocks and such. I was there for at least half an hour just looking at, touching and exploring these shotguns. Of all of them the ďExclusiveĒ 20g was one of the best handling shotguns I have ever picked up, beautiful to behold. Up till now when the money got better I was going to pickup a fancy 12g to look good next to my Weatherby possibly A Ruger red label side-by-side.
NO MORE I will own this Benelli. This 20g auto will take up a spot next to my Weatherby that has a factory custom stock.
Like my 378 this 20g has the looks and the felling. Itís amazing with all the time I have spent working around guns I have never had a shotgun ever feel so good. I get that feeling from my CZ75B like it was part of me.
There is just no comparing old world craftsmanship and Italian flare for beauty. Only 2500.00 bucks to so actually a very cheap price for such a gun.

10MM update TAURUS is not going to make that line of 10mm wheel guns. They got almost NO, NON, NOTTA orders
for them at or after SHOT so they scrapped making them. The rep was honest that its basic business and unless there was demand they could not justify all the tooling exp. Etc. He also made the comment that unless some one makes them and creates demand so to speak there wonít be enough of a market base. A nasty vicious circle of reality

CZ Is going hog wild with the Dan Wesson lineup. The new Alaskan 455 Super Mag is a sight to behold. Half the Razorbacks there where in 10MM. All things being equal I am picking one of these up soon both to show my support for CZ and for them having the 10MM at the fore front. According to the rep CZ has basically thrown out all of the old mfg equipment and started all new production line.

Until now only saw CZ limited in pics and their sight. Holding one in my hand feeling the balance of the full frame dust cover made me want it even more. Nice guys there to.

DSA I came, I drooled, I left

EAA WOW their display sucked,
you might not even believe this...used hotel bell service luggage carts with wood platforms to hold the guns.

The rep lied his ass off to me about how long they have had the upper tier Tanfoglioís
Hell I have the add from Shotgun news still touting that they are now importing them in 2005. The rep said since 1992. Since I have around 8 witness's at the moment have been dealing with them for years and asking if they would ever bring these over I knew better.

Then after I commented on the fiber optic FRONT sighted witness that I liked them and that it made changing sights so much easier THE REP PROCEIDED TO TELL ME HOW CRAPPY THEY WHERE AND THAT HE WOULD NEVER OWN ONE!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS for selling me on the gun dumbasss

Dry fired a DROZD now I need one of those things now

I had been hoping the tacky blonde would be there instead I got posters
Mark Galli will be missed he was the only guy who gave a crap about customers.

Best damn time I have had in a while even beats opening a new case of Alcoa

CRAP so much to cover.
Well as a matter of fact I spent most of my time with Ken talking about the SCAR heavy. He has put according to him at least 10000 rounds through the light, heavy and P90 in full auto.
The biggest issue with the SCAR is the heavy is getting all sorts of attention.
the DOD and mostly SOCOM has changed around some specs again so they are adjusting and pre-paring to start filling military contracts. He said Marines WERE LOOKING AT ADOPTING IT IN SOME FORM. Ken mentioned that public release is about a year out (meaning year and a half). His excitement about the heavy led me to believe like me He was a die hard FAL fan himself.

Again I tried not to pester him tomuch like a kid to Santa and tried to keep my gun geek speak to a min but he was a great guy to talk to and very into his work.

Well I am changing our celeb rule. If she gets the chance she can sleep with Ricky Martin. For me it was Andy McDowell until I saw Karen in the flesh.

Oooooo, the Heavy is getting some love? Excellent!! That's the one I plan to get first, if they want to refine it and improve it, I won't stop em! :D
