Just thought I'd introduce myself.
Name's Tom. I'm currently active-duty AF stationed down in South Carolina.
I'm fairly new to the Five-Seven having only had mine since Oct. In that time I've only shot with it twice as I was having difficulty getting ahold of ammo. Now that I've got a place to provide me with a steady supply, I plan on taking it out to the range quite a bit more and becoming more proficient with it.
I've been to this forum a few times to use it as a reference and decided to finally join. I see my good buddy DO (who introduced me to the gun) has recently joined up here as well.

Actually I'll be at the range this Saturday with a few friends (he's trying out his new SA XD-40). I'll be sure to bring my DSLR out and get some pics.
Next on the list of priorities, pay the $50 for my SC CCW permit and get a holster & belt.
Thanks for the welcome you guys!

Well normally its $100. $50 for the permit and $50 for the class. I don't have to take the class as I have my my firing card for qualifying on the government M-9. This counts as training and saves me $50.
My home state of VA does the same thing.

It's $117 for the CCW and if you had to take the class that would be about another $45. My Department ID is good enough I don't need the class. :)
i paid $125 for the class and its another $140 for the ccw

Good choice w/the IOM. Get one (ccw) from florida through the mail....$117 and good in a boat load of states, also good for 5 years.
