I purchased my FN LAR about 24 years ago. Gun South Inc had made up a shirt and hat that I was able to get. The dirty FN patch on the left was removed from the hat after I wore it out. The shirt does not fit any more but I saved it. The second patch I got off of Gunbroker this year

I was a part-time FFL dealer from 79-96. Here are two FN brochures from the 1980's on LAR and FNC.

I have always liked small pewter guns and pins but there were none for the LAR back then. I wrote to FN in 1983 to see if I could make up and sell some minatures of the LAR. I was politely turned down. Here is the letter I recieved.

Talking about Loyalty... About 6 years ago I wanted to get a good fireproof gun safe with an extra bonus from work. My wife and I went into a local shop that had several models. We had looked at a couple of them when we turned the corner and there sat a gloss black, Browning ProSteel safe with FN Security written on the front in red and gold letters.

My wife looked at it and then turned to me saying "I know which one were going to buy today."

I did not want to disappoint her (or me) and bought it. It's been a great safe. I would highly recomend them to anyone.

Yes indeed, that is the one.

And Panzermk2 .. I have been asking when FN will starting selling this stuff again, but I not heard of anything yet. Ask them about it if you get to the NRA show, though I don't know if they will be there or not.

I was the only FN Fanatic that I knew of for many years, but that has got change with all of the new products they are indroducing here in the US.

I hope they are going to be there. I will have to log onto the NRA website to see if there is a floorplan yet. Thats one of the biggest reasons I'm going to the show.
