You might be able to pick one up for around $15,000 or so. It's only money. :)

Move to central america somewhere where you can buy the whole government for a sack of tortillas... Then you can own anything that you want. Last time I were overseas I saw a "lightly used" Bren LMG for about $200 USD, AK-47's for $250USD, etc. I imagine a BAR would be less than $500USD.
Dont want to move? Then I suggest selling the oldest child, and the younger one's too for ammo money. :machinegu

On the white market, perhaps. But if you were in a foreign country that didn't care or it wasn't illegal, Im sure it would be cheaper.

This company makes a semi-auto reproduction BAR that plays nice with the ATF boys, supposedly pretty good quality. Runs 3k price wise.

You really should not have told me that. This is another 3K that I have to spend now, yes I said have to. I don't have a choice, my inner gun nut is yelling for one now. Thanks for the website and info Rypht. :D
3k, hmm, id like to own one but thats outa my range
You can get a Browning BAR sporter for about as much as a Fiveseven.
They come in most sizes up to 338win mag.
I want the big one (338win mag) some day.
I bought the fiveseven insted of the BAR, that BAR was going to be my next gun after I got out of Japan. I figuned I would get more use out of the Fiveseven and ammo would be cheaper, it would at least have been easyier to reload for.

Different BAR...not a commercial hunting rifle, its the 19pound 30-06 20 shot mag light machine gun/machine rifle, and its semi auto only copy(M1918A3) by ohio ordnance that costs 3500.00 and has a wait of about two years because they suspended production to do govt contracts

The price of $3.5K is not bad considering the C3 version will run about ten times that amount.
O yea I know what the real BAR is, a real gun. I had herd you could not get them any more (the new semi auto ones) because the factory stoped making them.
So the call the semi auto varrient the "A3" I had not known that.
