Hello All. I Am Not New To Reloading, But Am New To Reloading The 5.7x28 As There Is Hardly Any Info Out There. I Have A Chance To Buy The Rcbs Reloading Dies For This Caliber. What Powder, What Gr. Bullet Can You Reload? Does .223 Work? Just Need A Little Help Getting Started. Also, Where Can You Get Brass. I Have Several Boxes Of The Old SS192 And A Friend Gave Me 100 Rnds. Of Once Fired Brass. Thanks. :) :)

Welcome aboard. The only brass right now is once fired brass. Both the 5,7 and the .223 use a .224 bullet. Look around the reloading section and you'll find a lot of information on the type bullets and powder used by the members.

Hello,
I have some info concerning the original powder mfg that FN used/using. FIOCCHI is still using this same powder as well now that they have the contract from FN ref website: http://www.fnherstal.com/html/Index.htm.
FN used a Powder Manufacture called PB Clermont their site:
http://www.pb-clermont.be/v_h01/index_swf.html, they are a subsidery of Eurenco groupe SNPE from Belgium. This parent company also controls EURENCO Bofors- which is Alliant Powder in the USA, EURENCO Vihtavuori- which is Vihta Vuori distrbuted via Kaltron-Pettibone in the USA and EURENCO France- which is PB Clermont. PB Clermont distributes their powder via Western Powders under the brand name of RAMSHOT. FN nor Western Powders will not give out this info, I have verified that TRUE BLUE is the actual powder used for all 5.7 rounds.
Charge weight ranges from 5.0 to 6.5 grains depending on what round it is; such as the SS192, SS190, SS195, SS196 and so on. I pulled the bullets from these rounds and then weighed the powder from each.
Hope this helps.

Welcome to the Forum.
We have been useing AA No. 7, AA No. 9, HS-7, HS-6, w296 and/or H110, BlueDot.
We have used every thing from 33gr to 62gr bullets.
I have loaded 33gr speer TNT hollow points, 40gr winchester ballistic silvertip, 40gr sierra 40gr varmiter "Hornet" soft points, sierra 40gr varmiter HP's, 40gr V-max, 55gr V-max, 55gr FMJ-BT and 62gr FMJ-BT.
Planing to load 60gr SP's and SS109's.
Factory ammo is lame, it is little more then a source of brass/plinking ammo to me.

Have also used Power Pistol, True Blue and 3N37.
748, what's your load for the H110. I've stayed away from it since the guy blew up his gun with it.
I have not used H110, just ask the people/find the loads that have used W296, it is the same stuff made by the same company now.
