I have come across a disturbing failing of the of the USG/IOM!
I was thinking today as I drove back to the Hertz lot at Philly’s airport (don’t ask)
I have come across something that they would completely fail at.
You just can’t pistol wip somebody upside the face with it.
A 1911 or Highway patrol S&W perfect.
Take the heal of a 1911 and drive it into a dill weeds melon he’s down.
The 5n7? Really bad scratch?
Anyway just a thought

PS This would be why I passed on an “IN” with the Cook County Sheriffs dept. after the military
It ain’t the 1950’s anymore and not west Texas

When Bill Jordan was working with Smith & Wesson on the development of the Model 19 he specified the ejector rod shroud. When asked by a Smith worker why it was needed (as the Combat Masterpiece didn't have one) he replied "In case somebody accidently bumps his head on my gun".

That has been known to happen. :)
