It's very bad. The email had just arrived saying IRS had made a nice size deposit to the checking account, when all of a sudden my wife pulled her debit card out of her purse and ran out the front door. Bad, very bad, a woman with a debit card and a full tank of gas. :D

You know what that means don't you? That means you have to get on the computer and buy some stuff online before she can get to the store and spend it all. :MM

You don't have a FiveseveN? That's a condition that can be fixed. You know I have two or three just stacked up in the corner. :D

She already has a 3000GT Twin Turbo, so that's just what she needs is another sports car. :)

You guys have seen some of my collection so you know how I feel about my irons.
So does she, things have gotten much better now…………
I AM PLAYING THE GIULT CARD NOW IN SPADES!!!!!!!

Just do what I do. Get a little extra cash back at the gas station, grocery store and Home Depot. It adds up fast and she has no idea. It's tough being a stay at home dad and wanting a PS90. That's how I got my FiveseveN. No tatle tales please.

Man,
It's time to get rid of her! Take out any remaining money from the account and close the account. Tell her to have a nice life and move on. It may cost you in the short term but long term you will be money ahead. There are millions of women out there and they want to give you anything you want.
Good Luck,
Sparky1

I been doing the 'little extra cash' thing for years. $ 50.00 a week from the grocery store adds up fast. Had $ 1200.00 cash in the safe last year before buying the Desert Eagle.

Thank You Panzer. I don't know a Jim but I do live in your area. Huntley. The extra cash thing also avoids the whole " you spend too much money on guns" issue.

Mines normally pretty cool about it since I always pay wholesale prices.
Although for the PS90 thats gets a look. Normaly dropping 400 cash on something is not tobad but almost 2 grand when we have a 4 week old, 14month old and 4 yr. on a single income that's pushing it and I don't need her to tell me that.
To put it bluntly I don't have a 6 figure paycheck and this area around chicago has very high cost of living and taxes.
Plus she knows homuch the ammo cost for my USG and the thought about how fast it would get burned up with a fifty round mag is scary. EVEN TO ME

Tell me about it. I have a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old, one income(hers) and taxes went up $1000 last year. I have had my PS90 on order for a year now so I have been able to put a little $$ away. My PS90 should be here soon. A local dealer has one to see, if you have not had the chance.

Well, I hear all of you but, in my case I would give up a life time of returns, weapons and my beloved 12.9 sec Eclipse if my wife did not have to go through open heart surgery this wednesday. We have a 1 year old and a 4 year old(B-day yesturday). We also have a two teens from her previous marriage of which I helped raise for 9 years.

I am not trying to be a buzz kill I guess I am just venting as part of self therapy.

Just be happy with what you have as far as family and friends go. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I see alot of your wives are cool and understanding, great. For those of you that think they give you too much of a hard time sit back and really think before you say or do something that you may regret.

Don't worry about being a buzz kill, vent away. Hope she comes through with flying colors.

Open heart surgery is pretty streamline nowa days but, they still stop your heart. Then when your wife writes good bye letters just in case it kinda slaps you with reality.

Maybe $100 of PS90 shooting will calm my nerves.

Don't worry about being a buzz kill, vent away. Hope she comes through with flying colors.
Thanks for the kind words btw.

I say VENT AWAY also. If you need to talk PM me. I will give you my cell.
A year ago my wife and I faced the big C. they found it after a regular pap smear.
My daughter was 3 at the time and my second son had just been born.
shes healthy now after they removed it but it was a crappy time

I'll take you up on that offer if things don't go to plan. I have a good close family. disfunctional at times but, thick as blood. The one exception in my aunt(dad's sister) that had her daughter take my grandfather(deemed unfit by doctor to make decisions on his own) to an attorney friend to sign power of attorney over to get all his assets and $. Then they put him in a nursing home. In the end he died in that nursing home and she did not show up to his funeral. She and her daughter are getting a fracation of what they could of. Again I would trade it all for more time with him.
