I'm going to be spending some time with FN at the SHOT show next Saturday and have compiled a list of questions for them. Here is your chance to get in any questions you might have.

So, ask away!

I spoke with an FN LE dealer Friday and he said that he was able to get a few P90's at good prices from an LE department because they said they couldn't get any ammo.

I realize that FNH couldn't have predicted the Brady campaign, but there ought to be a after-sale support program to make sure that this doesn't happen. (abandoning a weapon system due to lack of ammo)

I don't know what FNH spends on marketing, but allowing this to happen creates a negative perception of the usefulness of their product in the LE marketplace.

Does FNH put their LE distribution chain ahead of their commercial sales? Should they?

How do you allocate a scarce resource? I'm sure MANY dealers and distributors will be asking them at SHOT when they will be getting their backorders and whether or not they are first in line. FNH can't say yes to everyone.

If FNH's distribution was a little more transparent, perhaps there would be less rumor, gossip and confusion in the marketplace. Transparency would go a long way in maintaining customer good will.

Enjoy your time at SHOT.

Speaking about other products--where's the 5.7 bolt gun, the one with a 16" barrel, flash hider and adjustable or better yet, folding stock, similair to the AI one? Maybe a full length top 1913 rail.

Hopefully, it takes a shortened version of the 5.7 magazine, but will accept the full length one.

I agree as well, where is the ammo???????? With the manufacturing capability and demand for it, there should be trailers of it. I heard there's a huge delay in distribution of accessories because lack of packaging for them. The items are waiting at FN's plant in MO??

FNMAN answered your question in your other post about this.

Not completely-the exact configuration isn't known yet. I'm stating what I would like to see-if that's ok?

Like toadd that back up iron sights that stay on the weapon when a scope is installed.

Here are a rew questions I would love to have posed to the FNH reps:

1. Whom may we contact (and where) to order factory replacement parts, as they do not answer their phones or return messages.

2. When will the tactical slide covers with tritium sights be available again, and will they be available with adjustable tritium sights.

3. When, and if they will be producing a scope rail for the pistol.

4. Will they be plublishing load data for the factory ammo.

5. Will they be making brass and projectiles (components) available for sale directly to dealers and intended for handloading (non-commercial production).

Thanks a bunch, Kevin, for going to the SHOT show and acting as our "representative." I wonder if you should manufacture yourself a "press credential" so that you appear to be journalistic in nature. The Supreme Court has ruled that anyone may be (and is) a member of the press if they publish in any way, shape, or form. Doing so may cause them to spend a little more time with you (and take you seriously).

Anyways, thanks again, and "good hunting."

I have been granted permission to purchase, thru the City as a "drop shipment", SS190 for our LE agency where I work, and I do not have any ideal where to start asking for information from FN or who to contact with them. Please ask for a "point of contact" so I can find out the "who, what, where, when, and whys" to ascertain if it is going to be more trouble(paperwork and inventory management, BTAFF paperwork) than it's worth. Thanks, Mike

201....If you can't wait till Kevin gets back from SHOT, you can try calling Bob Ailes at FNH USA and ask him your questions. For whatever reason, I have always been able to reach Bob by phone, although this coming week may be different due to SHOT.

Or you can call Maurice Berry, who is the Ahern rep for your state.
