You know, I have a 5.11 range bag on order from a local dealer, should get it any day now that my check's cleared (they weren't going to cash it until they had my goods); I could let you know what that one's like once I get some time with it.
well, i already ordered it. was just wondering if anyone has one.

OK then. If you end up being unhappy with your choice, and the 5.11 holds 3+ pistols, I can let you know how it is :)
I might think about getting a range bag, i usually just make trips from the car to the bench. lol

LoL. Right now I use some nylon-ish freebie bags from the corporation a relative works for. The 5.11 was offered for an inexpensive price though via a group buy, so I went for it. Sort of a pointless upgrade, or maybe it will keep things more organized.
only reason i got it was because i hate having to carry 3 individual cases around. plus a plastic bag for ammo with my hearing and stuff...
plus it was only $54 before shipping. once i get this in, ill take some pics and do a nice lil review. im curious to see if the mags for the five-seven will fit in the mag pouches

i'd be very interested to hear the reviews of both the i-shot and the 5.11 bags.
well, I am convinced now, my pittsburgh pirate nylon bag i tote my stuff to the range in, well lets just say there is now a new hole in the bottom :(
I will bee looking at the bags my dealer has and see if any fit the bill
yeah, yesterday me and some friends went out to the range. and i had them in a regular travel bag and it almost ripped...
I guess a free bag i got at the ball game wasn't excatly range material, lol
well poop! the company i ordered the bag just emailed me saying that they are out of stock and wont get any more for another 2 months... Im browsing the web and every place says out of stock on black i-shot pro shooter bags... poop poop poop... maybe a couple of dancing monkeys will cheer me up.

A 4-5 years ago I bought a cheap "range"(it's green with pockets in side and out) bag at Walmart. I think it cost me 9-10 bucks. I only use it for ammo and mags but I can hold 1000-1200 rounds of .223,9mm,.45,.22,.44mag,12-15 mags and eye/ear protection. It still holds up with no problems. If you want to try something like this try Walmart, Cheaper than Dirt, or any number of online places. I was also looking at a small wheeled piece of carry-on luggage to hold everything. I saw one the other day for a lap top that looked like it would work great. I just haven't tried it yet.
i was at cheaper than dirt the other weekend and wasnt really all excited over the range bags that they had. You can call me picky i guess. right now i keep the guns in the original cases and just put them in a bag i use when i travel.

I use a Docksil 4 pistol case to hold my hand guns. The nicest, no. The prettiest no. Does it work, yes. It was $20 or 30. I tend to prefer a hard sided case. I cut the egg crate foam to really hold them. I have a couple different foam inserts for different guns when I go to the range.

Try sportsmansguide.com I have never bought anything from there i just happen to see a bunch of bags and cases.
i have only bought ammo from them before, they have quick service.
the membership pays for itself after a few cases of ammo. plus the internet coupon codes, they have them listed on arf (http://ar15.com) if you buy anything from them.

They're close enough that I've bought from their retail outlet. I should look into those discount codes; thanks for the head's-up.
Not exactly sure when I'll get around to picking up that 5.11 bag... I'll post about it here though.
yeah, im gonna have to check out these shows coming up this weekend and next weekend.
