welcome to the site.....however those of us that are emergency responders(there alot of us here) hardly think a woman getting gored by a bull is an ice breaker...nor is car crashes when you have ever had to work them. The end result are shattered lives.
Do you own or are you considering getting a 5.7?

You're on my watch list.

That is not always a good thing. I'll give you a chance to rethink your introduction.

It appears that he is posting these all over the internet in hopes of finding ?something?. It appears to be some kind of "form letter" post.

I wonder if he is trying to get the name of the file service out in public (or maybe the file service is being paid per click like an advertiser and he is somehow involved with the business). I have never heard of the file service "humpingfrog" before. Or, maybe he is trying to find a place that encourages rubbish of this kind. Not here, he won't.

I also found these to be quite distasteful. I have seen more than my fair share of Human misery and am amazed that someone could find humor and entertainment in such. It makes me wonder about the mental state and fitness of such a person.

After seeing he's just posting these around the net, I'm going to re-open this one. Feel free to kick around the corpse a bit guys!

I found more than 200 other identicle posts (out of 62,000 matches on the screen name, I just got tired of looking after the first 200 or so) on other forums around the internet. Looks like he started early in 2005 and is continuing (exact same message and links). I wonder if there is a way for forum owners to set up a "blacklist" of IP addresses and screen names so that once a guy is banned from a couple of forums, he will be banned from all the other members forums around the internet. I bet idiots like this would scream bloody murder and insist that their "first amendment rights" are being infringed.

He must either be a really sick guy or some sleazy internet advertising moron.

There really isn't a practical way of banning someone from multiple forums. Passing the word around to fellow admins is the best way to do this. I can disallow certain names from registering, but I would have to know about the activity beforehand, which is rarely possible. There are a few names that I pre-banned from my experience on other forums that I knew would just comes here to cause trouble.

This forum is privatly owned and operated. His first ammendment rights don't apply here. I try to keep an open mind and will let certain things go, but this kind of material is not one of those things.

just want to add, blocking IP's is a bad idea. Some small towns only have one IP for everyone in the town.

Well here is something one should also consider, that it is possible that when you watch those videos embedded in them are spy ware, add ware and even viruses.

I found this out one day when a girl at the office who likes to do the myspace thing and was looking for a video to do up on her page and then got screwed with a bunch of spy ware and add ware. She didn't download anything she just watched videos. Well to double check I checked out the page, I have a program that will alert me when something tries to change the registry on my computer and oh ya. After visiting the page and just trying to watch one music video the program gave me like 3 alerts.

Anyhow moral of the story is, to those of you on the forums who viewed the videos please do an add and spy ware scan ASAP.

I am aware that the first amendment applies only to the government, and not what a private person or entity can control on their property and licensed spaces. I threw that out there because I know its the first thing these cowards spew from their mouth holes when they are confronted.

Just read this thread and sicked my ECM dogs on it. They just got back to me with following. This is an automated "spider" originating in Madrid, Spain over 19 months ago that searches out all vBulletin powered forums and registers Mikeyboy82 userid automatically with variations on video msg.

The object is to sucker legit members into viewing video's which have all kinds of variable and constantly changing nasty payloads embedded. The original hosting isp was shut down by Spanish authorities last year but not before the code hijacked literally thousands of unprotected PC's around the world.

This is pretty sophisticated software and is virtually impossible to eradicate as its constantly mutating. It's been planted on thousands of PC's and still going strong. If you viewed any of the videos, run anti spyware and virus software to clean your pc up. This thing tracks contacts and generates additional posts automatically.

The reason we haven't heard back from "him" is that Nosferatu shut down video link before too many members clicked thru. It also keys off and tracks back to messages sent thru forum. If it detects enough hits from a particular forum, it will send another post. If your spyware scan alerts on any kind of key logger spyware, Id advise you to change passwords and check your online accounts and credit reports ASAP.
