i talked to dillon precision today and they claim they'll not make anything for 5.7 because the rim is so small that it's extremely difficult to resize and thus reload (i.e. rim slips out of the shell plate too easy.)

sounds though, like several people here have been reloading, and i read the thread about working on a 3rd party shell plate for dillon 550 (?), so have those of you who've given it a go found resizing difficult? impossible? anybody doing it on a progressive press? did you have to use excessive lube or something?

I just started reloading my 5.7s in the last day or so, and so far had no probems. As a matter of fact, the 5.7 was the reason I went with the RCBS Pro2000 over the Dillon. At least Dillon was honest and told me up front they would never make the shell plate ect..

There are a couple of guys on here who have been doing it for some time, and I have not seen the discuss any problems. Some one was talking about a custom kit, but I never saw a price on the final cost.
